Crowd energy is palpable as French Montana honors Avicii during Norway show

French Montana is the latest industry figure to honor Avicii in the form of a live tribute. Joining the ranks of Rita Ora, Kygo, Black Coffee, and the many other artists who’ve publicly acknowledged the “Levels” hit-maker’s passing during their live performances, the rapper notably worked Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” into his recent show in Norway.
“YOU WAS SHINING THROUGH THESE DARK CLOUDS ON US!!” French Montana wrote in his Instagram post, a video later uploaded to his account that documented the heartfelt moment. As the crowd’s energy clearly conveys, Avicii’s impact is, and will continue to be, a timeless one.
