Grabbitz releases dynamic music video for ‘My Cloud’ featuring Shaq
Following the release of “Told Ya So” in September, Grabbitz kicked off 2018 with a dynamic single on Monstercat titled “My Cloud.”
Upon the song’s release in January, the producer also teased that a music video would be coming as well. The visual side of “My Cloud” has finally hit the internet, flooded in Grabbitz’s signature yellow and featuring a special guest who arrives just in time for the party. NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal, who has been seen playing out Grabbitz’s “Ballin'” in some of his DJ sets, completes the celebratory atmosphere of the “My Cloud” video with his arrival about halfway through.
Like “Told Ya So,” “My Cloud” was a part of the Buffalo, New York native’s December 2016 demo series, 12 Days of Grabbitz. He polished the song into its final form: a single that showcases his gritty, rock-influenced style, incorporating elements of hip-hop into the song’s rapped verses. “My Cloud” — like all Grabbitz music — is raw, emotion-packed, and impeccably produced.
After the release of his debut album, Things Change, last May and embarking on his first cross-country bus tour, the producer is gathering momentum for what is sure to be a huge 2018.
