British DJ/producer duo CamelPhat are a creative match made in heaven for deep house enthusiasts. When the long-running duo of Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala met while indulging their shared youthful obsession over vinyl at Liverpool’s 3B Records, little did the pair know that a Grammy nod was in the cards for their rare pop crossover club hit, “Cola” — which has now gone platinum after dominating the charts in 2017.

Following their b2b set with Solardo at EDC Las Vegas recently, the duo now brings their impressive BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix to fans for repeated listening pleasure. The two-hour mix stands as a testimony to Camelphat’s expert curation and penchant for vibrant house music, as the duo moves through Adriatique‘s “Voices From The Dawn,” Catz ‘N Dogz‘s remix of Claptone‘s “Under The Moon,” and, of course, a handful of their own singles in “Dopamine Machine” and “The Solution.”
