Moog expands the family with new analog synth, ‘Moog Grandmother’

Moog is keeping synth production in the ever expanding family. Meet the Grandmother, the latest Moog-branded semi-modular analog synthesizer to hit the market.

Modeled after the company’s landmark Moog Modular, the Grandmother functions both individually and in tandem with other Moog electronics. The Grandmother is additionally outfitted with a built-in arpeggiator, an analog filter, a spring reverb tank reminiscent of the Moog 905’s, and a sequencer. 41 patch points, 21 inputs, and 16 outputs allow for easy module co-functioning.

The Grandmother will retail for $899, and is currently available for purchase via Guitar Center.
