Omar LinX and Hunter Siegel connect once again on ‘Celebrate’

For years, Toronto rapper, Omar LinX has been aligning himself with prominent faces in the EDM domain – most extensively with fellow Canadians and ubiquitous producer duo  Zeds Dead, most notably on their lauded 2012 Victor EP. LinX’s coarse, vigorous delivery of his feverishly conscious raps is the ideal accompaniment for a dubstep track.

Most recently, LinX has lent his ominous, provocative vocals to another distinguished Canadian electronic act and close associate of DC and Hooks, Hunter Siegel, for their collaborative track, “Celebrate.” Siegel’s dark, driving dubstep-influenced production flows flawlessly beneath LinX’s aggressively cerebral rapping. This isn’t the first time the two have linXed up either, in fact, the two have proven to be a formidable pairing in the past as LinX is heard spitting his hell-bent rhymes over Siegel’s production in both 2015’s “Back To You,” and 2016’s “621.”
