Steve Aoki teams up with Lil Yachty and AJR for new single
Electronic music meets hip hop meets pop in Steve Aoki‘s newest collaboration, “Pretender.” The veteran producer teamed up with Lil Yachty and pop group AJR, which skews unforgivably pop with an electronic underlying tone.
Aoki has always had a way of bringing cross-industry musical forces together in an unexpected way, and this track certainly showcases that ability. Steve Aoki commented on the collaboration in an official release.
“I’ve been so excited to finally release Pretender. Worked with two of my favorite artists that are pushing culture in their own way,” said Aoki. “You get a mix of allof our genres in this smash. Hope you love it as much as I loved producing it.” -Steve Aoki
