EPROM‘s music sits at the pinnacle of free form bass: His beats drip and contort wildly, always seeming to explore some perpetual state of melting, churning, and mutation. Amid busily creating his distorted heavyweight bass, the west coast bass music producer made time to participate in a audio-visual project that is nothing short of breathtaking.

The 15-minute projection, titled METAMATHEMAGICAL, was a part of a live art installation for Sydney’s Vivid Festival, an event that focuses on cutting-edge light and music combinations. EPROM was tapped, along with artists Air Max ‘97 and x/o, to provide the soundtrack for a video projection of versicolored 3D images which transformed the sails of the Sydney Opera House into something entirely otherworldly. Creatively helmed by incomparable visual artist, Jonathan Zawada, viewers may also recognize his work on the cover art of Flume‘s Skin, Baauer‘s Aa, and EPROM’s Pineapple EP.
