US producer, William Crooks, has been forging a name for himself in indie electronic via the internet/Soundcloud since the ripe age of 19. Hailing from the Southeastern seaboard, the now 24-year-old has been featured on Lucid Monday’s Exclusive Spotlight, and last year released his sophomore album, Untitled, with High Fashion Records.
Crooks’s newest release, “All 4 U,” is an emotion-laden, beat heavy concoction in his usual paradoxical fashion. Pulling from chill trap, r&b, and dance music, Crooks’s prolific influences are highly pronounced as the track moves between subdued, mournful vocals and vibrant, floating melodies.
