Dillon Francis co-produces new Panic! At The Disco track
On June 22, Dillon Francis announced via his Instagram that he’s produced a song on Panic! At The Disco‘s latest album, Pray For The Wicked.
This isn’t the first time the dance music world has collided with the unique rock style of the band’s lead singer, Brendon Urie. Featured on Francis’ 2014 album Money Sucks, Friends Rule, the two partnered up on the rock-influenced “Love in the Middle of a Firefight,” where Urie lent his vocals.
This time, it’s Francis featured behind the scenes on the track “Hey Look Ma, I Made It,” this time offering his indie dance sensibilities to the otherwise rock album. The track, co-produced by Jake Sinclair, has a nostalgic pop viewpoint to it, with simple synth progressions, strings heading right for the heart and a danceable chorus.
