Australia’s own What So Not has delivered his third installment of his June takeover of Aussie-run weekly mix series triple j Mix Up. The iconic dance music show, an extension of ABC, has served as an invaluable platform over the years for both well-established and newcomer producers and DJs like ODESZA, Ekali, and Baauer, just to name a few, streamlining their talents to a broader audience.
In this third edition, What So Not sews together his wildly eclectic musical preferences like a staggeringly arranged sonic quilt. As the hour unravels, with visits to Rüfüs Du Sol and Flying Lotus, it’s apparent all bets are off once our maestro moves from Led Zeppelin‘s “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You,” into a wonky remix of AWOLNATION.
