Over the past month Childish Gambino‘s powerful new track, “This Is America,” has flooded the internet. With a music video that overflows with meaningful messages and, of course, Gambino’s very own personality and impeccable dance moves, it’s no surprise that fans and critics alike couldn’t get enough.
With so much hype, its no surprise that remixes and edits would soon follow, and who better to do it than Matroda.
On this one, Matroda takes the original and turns it into a grittily captivating house track, full of jabbing bass, strategically rearranged vocal chops and a filthy last drop that gives the tune a whole new feel.
