Watch Gorillaz debut new album ‘The Now Now’ live in Tokyo

After announcing the official title and release date for their forthcoming sixth studio LP, The Now Now comes as Gorillaz‘s second full-length work in under two years. The Brit virtual band has been teasing a whole slew of singles in preparation for the LP’s release at the end of this month, June 29; the most recent of which is a funky, hip-hop infused electronic track, “Hollywood,” in which the group tapped Snoop Dogg and Jamie Principle for vocals.
Gorillaz have now debuted their brand new album, The Now Now, in it’s entirety from the Boiler Room in Tokyo. Watch the band, along with their animated on-screen alter egos, live and in full semi-animated color for the first time ever.
