DJ Sliink and DJ Jayhood add a Jersey twist to Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’
Since the release of Drake‘s fifth studio album a few weeks ago, countless producers have stepped up to put their own twists on the platinum LP‘s 25 tracks.
The latest to try their hand are New Jersey producers DJ Sliink and DJ Jayhood, who’ve tackled “In My Feelings.” The Newark duo have flipped the soulful R&B slow jam into an upbeat Jersey club heater. They kick the track up a notch from the get-go, integrating a lively beat to back Drake’s vocals. In true Jersey club style, the duo have chopped up the track’s vocals, making for a trippy, energetic take on the Drizzy original.
Sliink and Jayhood have painted “In My Feelings” in a whole new light, still showcasing the smooth flow Drake’s known for, while adding their own colorful flair to the rendition.
