Dr. Dre to mix forthcoming Anderson .Paak album, ‘Oxnard Ventura’

Anderson .Paak‘s forthcoming solo album Oxnard Ventura will enlist the help of Aftermath Entertainment CEO, Dr. Dre.

“He’s in there producing melodies, writing ideas on sequencing, everything. Just the biggest help just having him as the filter, everything. It’s like whatever we need. Ideas for the videos, all that. We breaking everything down with the big homie” Anderson .Paak told Zane Lowe of his in studio collaboration with Dre as the famed rapper mixes Oxnard Ventura, while attending to all other creative facets involved in the album’s production.

Aftermath Entertainment head of A&R Ty Cannon further confirmed Dre’s involvement in Oxford Ventura, via an Instagram picture of Dr. Dre hard at work in the studio.

Dr. Dre boasts a storied career when it comes to assistive production; in the past, Dre has worked on projects from Eminem, 2Pac, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg, among those of other prominent artists active in the rap game.
