Feed Me remixes a Scarlett Johansson collaboration
It’s been a while since fans have heard anything new from Feed Me — about a year or so since the release of his Existential Crisis EP. However, he has been teasing some new, stating that the “album’s in [his laptop] somewhere” in this Facebook post, and is coming off a huge US summer tour. Now, he’s gifted the dubstep community with a remix of Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson’s collaboration, “Bad Dreams” — yes, the actress, who is also a musician.
The London-based producer kicks his creation into gear with entrancing electronics under the vocal duet, slowly bringing in the hard kick-snare combos fans know and love. He summons utter chaos come the peak, dropping the track into a heavy, yet melodic-dub fashion.
Catch Feed Me at the Global Dub Festival on August 11, followed by an appearance at Big Adventure Comic Con in November.
