The Fitness & Pony release two-song EP and music video on Crew Love Records
The Fitness & Pony are an up-and-coming house duo that has caught the eyes of some major players in the underground scene. From being discovered by Soul Clap to being showcased at Jacques Greene‘s Montreal Boiler Room event, the pair of artists have been making waves with their releases while refining their live sets. Now Crew Love Records (the collaborative imprint formed by Soul Clap, Wolf + Lamb, and Double Standard Records) has embraced the duo with the release of their Pretty Muthafucka EP, along with a music video for the title track.
The EP, spanning two tracks, showcases Pony’s no-nonsense, matter-of-fact vocals over The Fitness’ deep, grooving house beats. The music video for “Pretty Muthafucka” gives a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the visual, which features the artists hanging with dancers and models in a simple yet captivating industrial space. The second track of the EP, titled “Ice Cream,” is a smooth house track with a bassline perfect for any sweaty night out. Having gained attention from underground icons early in their career, The Fitness & Pony are a duo worth keeping an eye on.
