It really could only get better: Silk City enlists Mapei for summery new single, ‘Feel About You’

Silk City wasn’t lying with the release of the group’s debut single, “Only Can Get Better.” It could only appreciate from there, and unsurprisingly, on the heels of an already delightful summery tune, it has.

The delectable duo’s done the lord’s work on their new single “Feel About You,” tapping early Major Lazer affiliate and sultry songstress Mapei for the collaboration, allowing her bellowing vocal work take the lead. Diplo and Mark Ronson are absolute professionals on the new joint effort, dropping off an easy-listening hit that’s poised for radio domination. As strange of a pairing as Silk City may have seemed, each new product from the two super producers suggests the collaboration was definitely meant to be. Believe it or not, the boys have another new mega collaboration on the way. Florence Welch and Dua Lipa are both confirmed to have worked on the single, so really, it’s looking like things may, somehow, get even better from here. Of course there are no complaints, Silk City are the summer gift that keeps on giving.
