Wireless Festival organizers knew headliner DJ Khaled wouldn’t perform months ahead of event
Organizers of London’s Wireless Festival formally admitted their knowledge that headliner DJ Khaled would be unable to perform months ahead of the Finsbury Park event, hosted from July 6-8.
We take responsibility for not telling fans sooner and want all Khaled’s fans in UK to know he truly looks forward to coming to UK to perform soon.

“Due to a scheduling conflict related to filming of The Four, DJ Khaled was not able to commit to perform at Wireless Festival,” personnel wrote in a tweet published on Wireless Festival’s Twitter page.”Although we have known for a few months and tried to make it work, it wasn’t possible,” the tweet continued.
While DJ Khaled originally headlined the festival alongside J. Cole and Stormzy, Drake took Khaled’s place, delivering a 20 minute set that saw the ‘6 God’ perform a number of Scorpion tracks for the very first time on stage.
@WirelessFest you have broken the law and happily admitted to it, everyone with a Sunday ticket is entitled to a full refund!!! BY LAW pic.twitter.com/1CYzLpN0qO

They knew about DJ Khalid not being able to perform for MONTHS. Ticket holders were blatantly lied to and scammed when @WirelessFest sold tickets using DJ K’s image & then pretending like the discovery was recent. #fraud

Although Drake remains a formidable fill in, Wireless Festival attendees decried event organizers’ dishonesty on social media, with some demanding refunds for Sunday.
