Afrojack revisits old production styles on new single ‘Bringin It Back’

Only a few more days remain until Afrojack shares his long-awaited Press Play EP with the world, and it seems only fitting to drop another brilliant production to kick off release week. This is not just any production, though. His new track, “Bringin It Back,” has a sound that can be attributed to the 2009-2011 period where the Dutch producer initially rose to fame. This is likely what Nick Van Wall meant by the title, as a catchy, lead-synth driven melody is what fans have come to know and love from the producer on classics such as “Bangduck” and “No Beef” with Steve Aoki. Afrojack tops it off with a humorous, yet energizing vocal chant preceding a drop that is bound to bring straight hysteria to any crowd.

His upcoming Press Play EP comes out August 31, which will most likely make its live debut at MAD club in Switzerland on the same night. Fans can check out singles “Step Back” and “Bassride,” which are also set to appear on the EP.
