The Chainsmokers partner with Wynn Nightlife and Make-A-Wish to help teen’s dream come true

Here’s why we love dance music today.

Nevada-native 18-year-old Sarah Hodge has lived with life-threatening Cystic Fibrosis since birth. Recently, Hodge was under the impression that she would be attending a Make-A-Wish event as an ambassador, however she quickly realized this was not the case as she walked into Intrigue Nightclub in Las Vegas and found herself being greeted by none other than Alex Pall and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers.

The famed duo teamed up with Wynn Nightlife and Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada to make Hodge’s dreams of being a producer come true, giving her a brand new MacBook Pro with a suite of editing software installed. Pall and Taggart also gave her a hands on demonstration as to how to use her new equipment during their time together at Intrigue.

The teen spoke with local news outlets about her experience, and what she hopes to achieve in music production. “I walk through the doors and there’s a room full of people including my family,” she says.  “And then I looked the other way and there’s these two guys holding a Macbook Pro which was my wish.  And they’re The Chainsmokers.” She also states that her goal is to be the person behind the scenes producing the music for Billboard top 40 artists in the future.

With a personal tutorial under her belt, and a whole host of new equipment, Hodge can say her dream came true, thanks to the help of The Chainsmokers.
