David Guetta signs worldwide publishing deal with Kobalt Music

deadmau5 is in good company at Kobalt Music. The where’s the drop? producer recently inked a contract with Kobalt’s AWAL imprint, rendering AWAL the platform for ensuing installments in deadmau5’s developing mau5ville EP series. David Guetta is the latest electronic act to pen a deal with the publishing company, recently inking his own worldwide contract with Kobalt. The organization will provide publishing administration for Guetta’s extensive catalogue, including global synch and creative support services.

“David’s track record speaks for itself,” said Kobalt CEO and founder, Willard Ahdritz. “He’s a rare breed — a global superstar who’s worked with the world’s biggest artists and created hit after hit. David and his business manager, Jean-Charles, have built an amazing collection of great music over the past 15 years and it will continue to live on for years to come,” Ahdritz added, “It’s an honor to represent his music as part of the Kobalt family.”

Guetta is engrossed in the production of his seventh studio album, due later this year. For now, fans can get a taste of what the veteran French mega-producer has underway with Guetta’s most recent single with Anne-Marie, “Don’t Leave Me Alone.”
