Exclusive: Sigma – Anywhere (Blinkie Remix)
UK drum & bass phenoms Sigma returned in June with new sound in the form of summer anthem “Anywhere.”
The upbeat, vocal-focused song shone a new light on Sigma’s production, showcasing it in a more pop-centered way. The new direction turned into a huge success for the platinum-selling duo, and “Anywhere” has racked up more than 450 million YouTube plays to date since its release on June 15.
To celebrate the song’s success, Sigma have tapped a collection of artists to craft their own renditions of the song. Part of the remix package is London’s Blinkie, who’s added his own sun-soaked flair to the track. He leans into the song’s feel-good atmosphere, emphasizing the lively piano melody and spirited house beat.
The full remix package for Sigma’s “Anywhere” is out Friday, Aug. 3 and will feature reworks by Lucas Maverick, Tough Love, Wh0, White N3rd, and Macky Gee & Mollie Collins in addition to Blinkie’s remix.
