A ‘God’s Plan’ themed game show could make its way to television

Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Family Feud, and God’s Plan?

The lead single from Drake‘s double-sided Scorpion album could expand from chart topping song to game show concept in the future, according to court documents that indicate that Drake recently acquired a “God’s Plan” trademark. The legal filing extends to “God’s Plan” merchandise, music videos, marketing, promo, audio recordings, and even a TV game show.

Drake touted the previously unreleased music video for the track as “The most important thing [he’d] ever done in his [career].” The video followed Drake as he gave away scholarship money and groceries to all present in the supermarket that served as one of the video’s shooting sites. The initial seconds of the video numerically convey the extent of Drake’s generosity: “The budget for this video was $996,631.90,” the opening screen reads, “We gave it all away. Don’t tell the label.”

The most important thing I have ever done in my career…drop a 🙏🏽 if I can share it with you.
