Diplo‘s proven his prowess far beyond the radio-friendly pop and trap that have guided his career into A-list celebrityhood. He’s a true DJ at his core, and through various different mediums like Burning Man and beyond, has spread his proverbial wings and spun sets one normally wouldn’t expect to hear from him.

Take his most recent after-hours mix, which per the title he’s chosen for it, was inspired by the sounds of Las Vegas night life. We see a more 4/4-oriented side of Diplo in this mix, with him returning to the house realm for an hour of scintillating beats, uplifting vocal clips and chunky basslines. He’s put together an enduring mixture of tracks, which serve their “after-hours” purpose perfectly by maintaining an even, driving force on the dancefloor.

Prior to taking things down a notch with this mix, Diplo recently caught mass attention in a brand new release under his collaborative LSD moniker with Sia and Labrinth titled “Thunderclouds.” The single has already been circulating airwaves far and wide, to the public’s pleasure.
