New Zealand native QUIX has had a steady rise, thanks to hard-hitting releases on the likes of Mad Decent and Dim Mak. The producer has released another track on Dim Mak, and this time he has linked up with Vincent and vocalist David Shane to collaborate on the song.

“Hero” is not a track for those looking for some airy chords and a melodic drop. Shane’s vocals are radio-worthy with polarizing soprano notes that lure the listener in. While the song is seemingly smooth at the get-go, it falls into a commanding bass drop. Knife-like chords are layered over the bass to kick up the energy, making the track the perfect one for bass lovers to get their night going.
