Tube & Berger and Alegant team up on the ‘CURE’
Tube & Berger‘s work in the deeper realms of house music has ranged across multiple sounds. Dabbling in tech, deep and melodic, they’ve been able to make clear their mission as making music that is purely infectious in the best of ways. With the success of their last single — a re-envisioning of 2004’s “E Samba” for 2018 — and an album release in 2017, they have released their latest EP, a two-track endeavor entitled CURE. Out on their own label Kittball Records, the German deep and underground house production duo has partnered up with brand new act Alegant on two mixes of the title track.
The original mix of “CURE” is retro and expansive. Calling upon Depeche Mode in essence, it features entrancing melodic work and a cinematic groove. Taking advantage of the opportunity to remix their own work, the “Dust Lines” rework of the song is darker, more acidic, and tighter in its point of view.
