10 songs that stir hype ahead of Oliver Heldens’ Heldeep at Sea NYC

All aboard the Hornblower Infinity Mega-Yacht, as Dutch DJ Oliver Heldens will take his imprint to The Big Apple on September 22 for his long-awaited Heldeep at Sea event. The label boss will be behind the decks whipping a frenzy up among his audience during the 5-hour endeavor, with support from Black Caviar and Croatia Squad. Heldeep Records had a big year in 2018, with a steady stream of globally-renowned releases and its very own stage at Tommorrowland. To add onto the excitement for what should be another event for the books, here’s 10 songs attendees can expect to hear on the high-seas (or rivers) of New York City:

Oliver Heldens & Sidney Samson – “Riverside 2099”

Here’s the latest Heldens release, where he threw some flare on the classic dance track “Riverside” by fellow Dutch DJ Sidney Samson. Released back in 2009, the revolutionary original aided in bringing the sub-genre of “electro house” into the US. To this day, it’s still performed by some of the biggest DJs around the world and now has a more contemporary, yacht-party-ready version.

Kanye West – “All Mine” (Black Caviar Remix)”

The NYC-based duo could very well throw this Kanye West edit in their mix. It’s a rework of one of the most popular songs of West’s 2018 solo album and can easily kick the house vibes into gear. It was also a staple in their Guest Room Mix for Diplo’s Revolution Radio.

Oliver Heldens – “King Kong” (HI-LO Edit)

The Heldens alter-ego did a little edit of the hit single “King Kong,” with a much deeper bass that certainly gives it the “HI-LO Touch.” It’s been a few months since HI-LO has made any noise…will fans get some new/unreleased HI-LO aboard the Hornblower?

Chocolate Puma & Tommie Sunshine – “Tear This Mother Down” (feat. MX2)

This was a big one for Heldeep, which combined the skilled minds of dance music legend Tommie Sunshine and Netherlands-born duo Chocolate Puma. Keep an eye out for this one from any of the acts during the festivities.

Croatia Squad – “The Weekend Starts Tonight”

Hailing from Switzerland, DJ/producer Croatia Squad will also hit the one’s and two’s at the event to warm up the crowd, having recently released this explosive single to round out the summer.

R3hab – “How You’ve Been” (Black Caviar Remix)

This is the latest release from Black Caviar, throwing a groovy house-spin on Dutch DJ R3hab’s hit single “How You’ve Been.”

Aevion – “Telling Me”

The latest Heldeep Records release from London-based producer Aevion is one not to let slip away. The night is a big one for Heldens’ imprint, so attendees should definitely brush up on some of its newer releases to really absorb what they’re about to hear for the night.

Cardi B – “Bartier Cardi” (Black Caviar Flip)

For those attending, Black Caviar’s set is not one to be missed, as they take pride in flipping some of the hottest mainstream party tracks. Anyone who listens to the radio or looks at Spotify charts will recognize a song (or ten) from their set.

HI-LO & Dada Life – “Good Vibrations”

Who could forget this collaboration from HI-LO and beloved Swedish duo Dada Life? The track has just enough rhythm and bass to take on a title wave.

Oliver Heldens – “Gecko”

It’s quite crazy to think that four years ago, Heldens released “Gecko” and shocked the EDM scene. He brought a brand new production style to the world and continues to shape/influence the world of dance music today. Events like Heldeep At Sea are a great way to showcase what he’s done, providing a unique and innovative experience to his fans.

Heldeep At Sea departs from NYC’s Pier 40 at noon on September 22. Head here for tickets and more info.
