Above & Beyond finally release ‘Rocket Science’ a year after track’s live performance debut
Two weeks away from ABGT300 taking place in Hong Kong, the Above & Beyond trio have released a new single, “Rocket Science.” In true Above & Beyond form, they have released two edits of the track: one that clocks in at four minutes and another longer version at six minutes. The track was debuted in front of 23,000 fans at the Gorge Amphitheatre last September, and now it’s finally out after a long year of anticipation.
“Rocket Science” is an upbeat tune, with pulsing trance notes and a mystical buildup rising into a commanding drop. The longer edit of the version has a robotic-like synth progression, adding elements to the track that are perfect for club play. The group is known for their ability to incite euphoria from listeners even through some of their darker tunes, and “Rocket Science” is certainly no exception to this.
