Boombox Cartel and Flosstradamus drop ‘ID’ after teasing the release with 200 hidden USBs
Boombox Cartel and Flosstradamus have released their collaborative ID off Diplo‘s Mad Decent. It’s simply called “ID,” a trap-infused thumper with big horns, spacey bells, gritty sub bass, stadium kicks, and white noise on the hook for further anticipation. Starting off with a chilled-out hip-hop beat, the track quickly changes pace and falls into expected territory for the EDM trap mainstays. On the second drop, psytrance heads will be appeased, as the song double-times into spacey, bubbly quick rhythms.
Boombox and Floss teased the ID by hiding 200 USBs around the country in some of their favorite locations earlier this week. Fans had access to the locations of each USB on a map released by Americo on his Twitter. Both artists have been busy touring the US, so it makes sense they both had a list of favorite locations.
