Harris’ most recent release, the soulful, Sam Smith assisted house heater, “Promises,” soared to the number one spot on UK charts, clinching Harris’ eighth top slotting single in the 2010s, and his tenth number one track, according to OfficialCharts.com.
It’s not lonely at the top, either; Harris now joins the likes of Madonna, Elvis Presley, and The Beatles, all of whom similarly witnessed their music ascend to the number position of UK charts in previous years.
