Grum announces second album with ‘Never Have To Be Alone’
Anjunabeats talent Grum has returned with a new single and a big announcement. The Irish producer and progressive stylist dropped “Never Have To Be Alone” as his latest single of a productive year so far, along with the confirmation of speculation from his fans that he indeed will be releasing an album. While Deep State doesn’t have a firm release date just yet, the label promises its arrival soon.
Quickly following his last single release — a prog-lover’s dream collaboration with Fehrplay — “Never Have To Be Alone” is a dreamy track that veers just as about as deep into trance territory as Grum goes. Proving himself to have strong footing in expansive, emotive territory, not to mention a track with a moving vocal, it’s no wonder that this track is the one that got paired with the new album announcement. Proving his agility on his latest single shows signs that Deep State could be an album for album’s sake, avoiding the frequent trap for electronic artists of stringing a bunch of singles together.
Deep State will be Grum’s sophomore album following the 2010 release of Heartbeats.
