Hannah Wants is launching her own label, Etiquette
One of the most notorious and prolific mixers in the game, Hannah Wants, has announced she will be launching her very own label, Etiquette, on October 12. Wants will be releasing some of her own original music under the new imprint, including her forthcoming “Close To You” and “You Keep Comin.” A variety of house and bass, both established and less-seasoned acts alike are set to follow suit soon after.
The watershed announcement for the British producer will be capped off by an exclusive launch party in East London. Wants has confirmed she and a slew of guests will be performing at the soiree, spinning from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., though the precise location has yet to be disclosed.
The news is quite a tonal shift from her announcement last week that she has been battling breast cancer since her diagnosis 18 months back. Wants has been bestowed titles like Mixmag‘s Breakthrough DJ of 2014 and navigated her way through dance music’s most sought-after hotbeds, like Ibiza’s Ibiza Rocks and Manchester’s The Warehouse Project.
