Infected Mushroom release second track off ‘Rocket League X Monstercat Vol. 4’ LP
Infected Mushroom releases a celestial psytrance single, “Walking On The Moon,” on Canadian electronic powerhouse Monstercat. Starting off with a dance between disonnant bells and funky keys, the track dives into dynamic ad lib textures, and finally, that beating four on the floor kick arrangement. The anticipation rises as the pitch climbs, and then the track falls into major space play with passing sonics amongst the acid house bassline. Vocoder vocals support the high-end amongst Infected Mushroom’s percussion-heavy narrative.
The Israeli musical duo called the track Brazilian Psybase, a nod to the swing and arrangement from the various percussion elements. “Walking On The Moon,” is the second single off of Monstercat’s collaborative Rocket League X Monstercat Vol. 4 LP. The first was “Charge” by Bossfight. Landing in full on September 13, the projects is set to feature artists such as Muzzy, Darren Styles, Gammer & Dougal, Tokyo Machine, and Pixel Terror.
