Instupendo makes his mark on TS Graye’s ‘Take Notes’
It’s back to school season, and while most students mark the occasion by buying school supplies or heading to a welcome week party, Instupendo does things his own way by dropping a remix. The Philadelphia-based producer has made himself visible through his groovy, downtempo beats, and for his latest remix has linked up with fellow rising star TS Graye.
Graye’s single was released earlier this summer in her alt-pop-meets-R&B style, and now with the invitation to Instupendo, “Take Notes” goes one step above. The remix sees the track ascend to new heights given Instupendo’s self-described “ethereality,” a moody and thoughtful style whose intimate mood echoes the dreamy passion and insecurity in the single’s lyrics.
Instupendo’s remix of “Take Notes” follows his own sophomore EP getting remixed earlier this summer.
