Martin Garrix has the uncanny ability to make the carefree character of festival season last all year long in his productions, and his closing effort of the summer season ensures that listeners will still feel the warm sun on their shoulders well into January. A joint effort with fellow Amsterdam originator, Justin Mylo, and featured vocalist, Dewain Whitmore, “Burn Out” layers the refined rasp of Whitmore’s anthemic vocal hook atop the upbeat synth work that serves as the source of the single’s spunk.

Released on Garrix’s label, STMPD RCRDS, “Burn Out” touts a lively music video that provides a vibrant visual for the high-spirited single, while issuing a nod to Garrix’s newly announced partnership with AXE Music. The male protagonist of the “Burn Out” music video notably sprays himself with AXE body spray before initiating conversation with the video’s lead female.

“I am very honored to be part of the AXE Music roll out,” Garrix said of the recent alliance, “I love the campaigns AXE has done in the past and when we all met in my studio, I felt a great connection which is super important for me in collaborations like this. I am super happy with the result of my video for my new single ‘Burn Out.'” Garrix will be key to the growth of the AXE brand’s newly instated platform, AXE Music. An exclusive, limited edition Martin Garrix body spray will follow Garrix’s coalition with AXE Music, and can be expected to hit Latin American and Netherlands markets on September 14.
