Above & Beyond celebrate Group Therapy’s 300th episode in Hong Kong
For the past six years, Above & Beyond have been thrilling listeners all over the world with their dynamic radio show, Group Therapy. The debut episode aired in November 2012 and was broadcast live from Bangalore. Here, nearly six years later, the trio is celebrating a huge milestone — their 300th episode — from Hong Kong.
On Sept. 29, the group brought their tercentenary episode to China, featuring sets from Andrew Bayer, Ben Böhmer, Grum, Ilan Bluestone, and Spencer Brown. The event was brought to fruition after the success of last year’s event at The Gorge. While speaking with Billboard Radio China, the trio talked about how they could possibly top last year’s ABGT250.
“Last year’s ABGT250 Weekender at The Gorge was a magical experience but also left us wondering, ‘How do we follow that?’ The answer was to go for something completely different, and Hong Kong and the Far East represent a new frontier for Group Therapy, at what is an exciting and groundbreaking time for electronic music in the region.”
