The Black Madonna is the hero we don’t deserve; scamming the scammers
Many artists claim that they would do anything for their fans, but few have gone as far as The Black Madonna. After finding out that people were scamming her fans with fake tickets to her Saturday night show at Lot 613 in Los Angeles, the Chicago-based DJ took matters into her own hand, going undercover to foil the plans of the scammer.
Approaching an account that had been stealing money from her fans, The Black Madonna posed as a fellow raver looking to buy tickets to her own show. When asked for payment, she revealed herself as the night’s highly-anticipated headliner and reported the scammer to both CashApp and the authorities. The interaction, seen below, ended with The Black Madonna guest-listing the victims of the scam and sending out a warning to future scammers – don’t mess with The Black Madonna, or she will find you, come for you, and call the police.
Pro-tip: Don’t scam my fans. If you sell fake tickets to my show I will personally find you, come for you and call the police. You may think I’m the one but I’m not the one. See you all at Lot613 today. If you got scammed, please let me know so I can personally make it right. pic.twitter.com/XQavCJDTmS
