Deathpact releases first single from second EP in a month, ‘Ciphertwo’
Deathpact has released a new single called “Formality” from his Ciphertwo EP, which is set to drop at the end of the month. The REZZ collaborator dropped his debut EP, Cipher 1, in late September. Now, the mysterious entity announced a second EP at the end of October, proving a quick extended play project turnaround. The entity appeared in late July, showing off a proficiency in releasing behind-the-brand clothed enigma.
“Formality” begins with a skit about money. One man asks his elder about making money. The older gentleman proceeds to mentor the younger lad, telling him all he needs is a friend to point money out to him. The song begins shrouded in a dark veil, springing to action with bouncing synths and a tight, percussive, house groove.
