DJ Snake teases full-length ‘Taki Taki’ music video with short trailer [Watch]

Trailers are no longer reserved solely for films, as DJ Snake illustrates via a newly released clip that teases the impending arrival of the “Taki Taki” music video. An electronically exotic amalgamation of Latin pop and dance elements that saunters at a sultry mid tempo, the reggaetón track rapidly ascended to mega collaboration status with features from Cardi B, Ozuna, and Selena Gomez. “Taki Taki” promenaded to the peak of Spotify‘s Global Top 50 chart in the one week following its formal release, and has garnered a near 29 million streams on Spotify since, signaling that the bilingual lyricisms of “Taki Taki” are resonant among listeners.

DJ Snake’s 22 second trailer canvasses the single’s featured artists, clad in sexy scarlet outfits. Billows of smoke and tropical greenery lend a mystique to the incoming visual, which will expectedly sizzle with the same heat that “Taki Taki” does, as the song continues to smolder at the top of the charts. The full-length music video will make its debut on October 9, and will be directed by Colin Tilley, memorable for his oversight of DJ Khaled and Rihanna‘s “Wild Thoughts” music video, and Kyle‘s “iSpy,” among many others.
