Kanye West’s ‘Yahndi’ project delayed two months for Africa recording sessions

It’s been a whirlwind of waiting and rumors for Kanye West fans so far this fall. In an interview with TMZ, Ye dropped some bad news for those eagerly anticipating his Yanhdi project’s arrival, telling fans of plans to head to Africa for more recording sessions with the aim of releasing his LP on November 23. After previously stating the album would be released on September 28, and even booking a coinciding slot on “Saturday Night Live” to promote the drop, the date came and went without new Yeezy.

West plans to head to Africa on a quest to “feel the earth, and just be,” explained the rapper. “Those five albums that I dropped earlier were like superhero rehabilitation. Now the alien ‘Ye is fully back in mode.” Despite his previous project ycontaining just seven tight tracks, many were still surprised when Yeezy began teasing his Yahndi LP. Despite the frustrating delays, it’s clear the G.O.O.D Music boss is planning to make Yahdi something special. Although the music world has learned the hard way Kanye’s release dates are subject to change, his new album would be a thanksgiving highlight if it indeed drops this coming Black Friday.
