Malaa releases the third single, ‘We Get Crunk,’ off his ‘Illegal Mixtape Vol. 2’ project
Malaa has officially put out “We Get Crunk,” a warehouse party house track with a deep and dirty ambiance. It’s the third single off the unknown producer’s Illegal Mixtape Vol. 2 project, following “Bling Bling” and “Cash Money.” Showcasing deeper sounds with a raunchy flare, the masked enigma displays a taste of his stripped-down Illegal tour.
The song starts off with a haunting uplifter yielding for scantily-clad percussions. Then, thick droning synths dive into the mix for anticipation purposes. A four-on-the-floor house beat presides with drowning synths and hyphy ad libs, giving the listener their fix of high end percussion elements mixed with low end melodies. Pitched-down vocals mixed with G house harmonies and rhythms give listeners a sense of nostalgia while still remaining current, covering the likeness of a variety of house heads. The single was dropped by Tchami‘s Confession label.
