Noisia scoring music for Sleeping Beauty-inspired ballet

Noisia is scoring a new Sleeping Beauty-inspired ballet, Sleeping Beauty Dreams. Contemporary dance and music meets state-of-the-art, real-time avatar-mapping projection technology on stage. Rem Khass came up with the concept in 2015. This long-form narrative fits right into Noisia’s vision of sound exploration and sonic beauty personified.

The trio from the Netherlands are known for their high fidelity sound quality, specifically reaching commercial success within the drum and bass realm with the release of their work on Tasha Baxter’s Colour of Me in 2007.  They are the label owners of three imprints: Vision, Division and Invisible. Partnering with a contemporary ballet will be a unique combination of modern, high-quality electronic music and movement.

The performance will be held at the Ziff Ballet Opera House at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, Florida on December 7 and 8. Tickets are available for purchase here.
