German house hitter Sharam Jey linked with Dirty Vegas frontman, Steve Smith, for the production of “Ready or Not,” on Jey’s September LP Invisible, and now the collaborative single is accompanied by an official music video. Smith’s vocals fluidly unfold in an arpeggiated synth melody that carries the uplifting tune through. The single’s video visually reflects the relaxed spirit of the song in its animated projections of rocket ships coasting through clouds, brightly colored cartoon silhouettes gyrating to “Ready or Not’s” beat, and black and white cut outs of both artists, superimposed on the video’s vibrant backdrops.

“Ready or Not” comes by way of the venerated dance producer’s third LP, Invisible, out now via Bunny Tiger. Highlights from Invisible include previous singles “Lost,” featuring KLP, and “Fridaycity” with Little Boots. The full 14-track collection sees additional sonic cameos from Dirty Vegas, Dacia Bridges, and Ashibah, among others.
