Tritonal announce forthcoming new album and North American tour, share album’s first single, ‘U Found Me’
Mavens of the electronic mainstream, Tritonal will expand their influence on the technics of dance sound via the release of their third full-length studio album, U & Me. “The title for…U & Me is a very simple pointer towards [the] unity & love that we feel is inherent in life itself. Ultimately, we are all connected…music allows us to express that connection through sound. There is so much inherent divisiveness in our culture today and we wanted to flip the ‘you vs me’ or the ‘us vs them’ dialogue on its head,” Tritonal said of the conceptual basis underlying U & Me’s production. “Hopefully, our music can act as a light that shines upon one simple truth — love,” Tritonal added.
Slated for a 2019 release just after the New Year, the extended outing from Tritonal will see a 30-date North American tour unfold in sync with the album’s arrival. The U & Me tour will take Tritonal to a number of major U.S. cities, including Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, and more. Tickets to the U & Me tour will go on sale on October 12.
Conscious that 2019 still remains several months away, Tritonal offer listeners a preview of what remains yet to come on U & Me via “U Found Me,” the first single to gain a release from the forthcoming album. An anthemic production that seamlessly melds elements of progressive and electro house stylizations, “U Found Me” radiates a strong sonic presence that U & Me will embody in full form.
