Swedish House Mafia hints at Mexico City stop in suggestive Instagram posts
Swedish House Mafia continue to plot their comeback slowly, steadily, and of course, suggestively. The supergroup solidified their extended reunion via their recent announcement of a May 4, 2019 show at Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena, and their concurrent statement that more tour dates would follow their hometown performance, with new music in tow. The ball remains ever in Swedish House Mafia’s court, as the EDM world watches, writhing in anticipation of the trio’s next move; but as Angello, Axwell, and Ingrosso‘s Instagram activity of late intimates, Mexico City might just be the next location to gain a date with Swedish House Mafia.
Each of the three constituents shared an Instagram picture with the words “Mexico City” displayed three times, in the group’s characteristic promotional style. Just what Swedish House Mafia plans to do in Mexico City currently remains undefined, given the lack of specific supporting details from the triad. However, as those attuned to Swedish House Mafia’s mounting activity in the past year have likely observed, the trio’s social media activity tends to prelude official news of an upcoming appearance, and it’s likely that this pattern will continue–Mexico City notwithstanding.
