Coone releases Tomorrowland video for ‘Madness 2.0,’ an upgrade to the original with Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, and Lil Jon
Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, and Coone feature Lil Jon on the card of their hardstyle thrasher, “Madness 2.0,” an updated and upgraded version to their 2013 release off Dim Mak. The rapper turned DJ chart-topper was always graced with a voice synonymous with crunk; thrown together with the pride of Belgian hardstyle expresses nothing but energy and fervor for partying. The newer version shoots a higher-end synth for the leading melody than the original, showcasing a heavy contrast between the thumping 808s and protruding sub bass.
The video by Appartyment was taken of Coone’s performance at the main stage of Tomorrowland this year, among other festival clips. In the video, viewers are treated to the conversation that led to the remake. The original opened many doors for Coone five years ago, and since he’s now performing main stage at Tomorrowland, the remake is coming full circle.
