Grandtheft cooks up an eclectic pregame soundtrack ahead of Holy Ship! 12.0
Toronto native and vastly accomplished DJ/producer Grandtheft has carved out a unique lane for himself in the electronic fast lane through his mesmerizing and genre-bending bass flavor. From reworks for pop music icons such as Rihanna and Katy Perry to chart-topping originals through Diplo’s iconic Mad Decent imprint, Grandtheft has continued to build on his veteran-status foundation over the course of just a handful of years in the circuit. Arriving on the scene just before the holiday season to aptly prepare future Holy Ship! attendees for the madness that is surely to ensue, Grandtheft has recently curated an exclusive playlist on Spotify for the Dancing Astronaut faithful.
Grandtheft’s selection solidifies his status as a must-see act come this January’s voyage as he gifts a wide variety of rowdy, idiosyncratic tracks including “Hey Pablo,” via Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo’s recent Anti Up project, “In The Zone” off Jauz’s debut album, as well as a handful of Grandtheft’s own certifiably off-the-wall productions.
