KAAZE unwraps the perfect Christmas present with his long-awaited version of ‘The Legend of Zelda’

After Hardwell introduced audiences to KAAZE’s rework of the iconic Zelda theme during his festival sets in 2017, the dance music world has endlessly begged for the production to see the light of day. At the start of December, KAAZE ignited the rollout of his “KAAZEMAS Calendar,” where the Swede unveiled a gift per day over the course of 25 continuous days. This ranged across a spectrum of deliveries, including exclusive bootlegs, mashups, sample packs and most recently, his euphoric remode of Timmy Trumpet and Maddix’s, “The Prophecy.” While fans had speculated what could potentially remain behind door number 25, KAAZE cleared all doubts on the final day, officially delivering the Chistmas gift fans were on the edge of their seats for, “The Legend of KAAZE.”

The official version is everything fans had envisioned since the track’s live debut, thoroughly reinventing the iconic game’s nostalgic theme song and turns it into a progressive house treasure. Overflowing with KAAZE’s instantaneously recognizable sound, the track spins into a mesmerizing break, undoubtedly quelling fans’ appetites for the long-teased track. ‘The Legend of KAAZE’ was certainly worth the extended wait as he puts the finishing touches on a banner year.

If the track itself was not enough to elicit those peak childhood flashbacks, KAAZE comes through with a set of visuals from the notorious Nintendo video game series to accompany the track. The final “KAAZEMAS Calendar” release is available for free download here.
