Sonorous to fill Tulum with 2-week slate of caliber house & techno
Tulum has quickly become a top destination for rugged dance fans in the winter, converting each January to a mecca for the world’s finest house and techno DJs. Since BPM’s departure from Playa Del Carmen in 2017, this has become even more the case, with a plethora of carefully-produced events popping up all over the city’s jungle beds and cenotes.
Sonorous sits atop this influx of events as a Tulumian winter jewel. The juggernaut brand will begin its takeover on December 29 and continue until January 13, bringing a series of all-stars to the jungle. They’ve just unveiled their schedule so far, and it’s looking to be an extravagant two-week affair. Events primarily take place at night, with notable headliners like Solomun, Dubfire, Hernan Cattaneo, Hot Since 82, and more getting their chance to shine at night. There will also be three day parties on January 7, 9, & 10 respectively, with whomadewho, Apollonia headlining, plus a special showcase by Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars imprint.
