Addal gives The Knocks added groove on new ‘Brazilian Soul’ remix
The Knocks are primed and ready for 2019, kicking off their New York Narcotic tour on Jan. 24 in Vancouver. Prior to the tour, the NY-based duo dropped a 14-track album and will showcase their project with a brand new live performance, including unique production and a full band. However, they clearly wanted to keep performance options open, releasing a string of remixes for the album that includes this latest rendition from Italian producer Addal on “Brazilian Soul.”
Released on Big Beat Records, Addal brings this funk track up to house speed, raising the tempo and adding a whole new drum beat. Listeners will notice how groovy a track can get with additional club vibes under the always catchy Sofi Tukker vocals. Having done official reworks for Avicii, Sofi Tukker, and more, Addal is proving his true value as a remixer.
